Chemical Peels

Chemical peels can help sustain, improve, and restore your skin’s health and appearance. Our peels are non-invasive and have produced excellent results for our patients. They can be used on the face, neck, or hands.

Our treatment process is centered around your unique skin. It’s best to schedule a consultation so our Master Aesthetician can work with you to formulate a treatment plan that is individualized to your specific skin care needs and goals.

How Do Chemical Peels Work?

Our chemical peels are formulated with active exfoliants that work to accelerate the skin’s natural cellular turnover. By speeding up this process, the top layer of skin can shed dead surface cells at a rapid rate. By the time the peel has completed its work, the newly regenerated skin underneath will have replaced the old and dead top layer of skin. In the majority of cases, the newly regenerated skin looks much smoother and less wrinkled than the old skin.

Pigmentation is caused by poor blood circulation. Wrinkles are caused by a loss of elasticity. Blemishes are caused by a loss of collagen. Chemical peels can aid in treating these issues.

Our chemical peel treatment can be completed in 20 minutes or less. Treatment consists of one or more layers placed on the determined area for three to five minutes at a time. Treatment process and results depend on what type of chemical peel is applied, your skin type, and your skin’s reaction to the treatment.

If you’re concerned about how to ready yourself for a chemical peel treatment, view our pre-treatment instructions to help prepare.

What do Chemical Peels Treat?

Chemical peels treat a wide range of skin issues and blemishes, including:

  • Wrinkles
  • Acne scars
  • Crow’s feet
  • Melasma
  • Sun damage
  • Age spots
  • Sagging skin
  • Hyperpigmentation

Since chemical peels can be used as treatment for an array of skin issues, scheduling a consultation with our Master Aesthetician before you receive the peel is optimal. Remember that your skin is unique, and your treatment should be an individualized experience.

Chemical Peels We Offer

We carry a variety of chemical peels that offer different intensities and active ingredients. Some peels are made to target specific concerns, like wrinkles and hyperpigmentation, while others are made to provide a general rejuvenation.

It consists of a unique combination of papain and bromelain plant enzymes, along with glycolic acid for exfoliation purposes. It is safe for all skin types and tones. This peel can be classified as a “lunchtime peel”, meaning the treatment process can be completed in under 20 minutes with no downtime required.

Glytone peels provide enhanced penetration for deeper results with minimal irritation. Glytone peels are built with skin tolerance in mind. Schedule a consultation with our Master Aesthetician for more information on our Glytone chemical peels.
